Artist’s Note:
I’ve always longed to touch life, to deepen, and to return home to myself more fully. I did’t know how to shapeshift and return again, I’d shapeshift and get lost. This body of work explores what it means when I stopped trying to be seen externally, by others, and became fully visible to internally, to myself. It’s an ode to those who don’t move like others, sense a deeper rhythm beneath the current, and mistaken their specificity for wrongness. The lighthouse, is a reminder that I am not here to chase the world, but to become a point of orientation within it. Those meant to find me, will.
